Every job is at a different address, and a calendar app does not know that

A generic calendar app does not hold a photo of the leak, remember which client haggles over every estimate, or tell you what the last visit to this house actually cost you in parts.

Book Visit Now can help with that.

Every job site, on record

Set up each active job as its own Location with the address.

Anything worth remembering you can keep in the notes field associated with the client; a gate code, where the shutoff valve is, which dog bites.

When the job wraps, flip it inactive instead of deleting it, and the job history stays with the client.

Delete a location that is genuinely gone and the app asks where to move any future work still pointed at it, so nothing falls off the schedule by accident.

Proof of the work, not just a memory of it

Before and after photos are two independently stored columns on every job note, so working from your phone on site and your iPad that evening never overwrites what the other added. Stored encrypted in your own iCloud, never uploaded anywhere else.

Generate a proper PDF of a job from the notes, photos included, as a leave-behind for the homeowner or as your own record if a dispute ever comes up about what was actually done.

Job notes that read like a work order

The same structured note other trades use for treatment records works as a work order here: what the homeowner said was wrong, what you actually found on site, your diagnosis, what you are doing next visit or what parts to bring. The ICD-10 code fields on the note are there for the trades that need them; leave them blank, nothing requires them, or find your own use for them.

Materials, priced and tracked

Log parts and supplies as Products, each with its own item cost and sale price, and add them to a job alongside your labor.

Every service you offer, drywall repair, gutter cleaning, a deck fix, an emergency call, carries its own duration and price, plus a cost figure for the materials it actually takes, so the profit math is labor and materials together, not a guess. (There is no inventory system).

Know which jobs are actually worth taking

Once your costs are entered, the reports show profit by job type, which clients are worth the drive and which cost more in return trips than they are worth, and who has not paid or did not show for a scheduled job. All of it exports to CSV for your bookkeeping.

Different rates for different clients

A bump for the landlord with ten units who always calls last minute. A discount for the client who has kept you busy for years. Both live on the client record, and you can stack them.

Repeat Business

Set a repeating appointment for a biweekly gutter or lawn client and the whole schedule is booked in one pass.

Text reminders go out from your own number before a job window, cutting the no-answer-at-the-door problem without a third party in the conversation.

What it does not do

No online booking. A homeowner calls or texts, and you book it after talking to them.

No payments, deposits or card on file. If you collect a deposit for materials, you will need your own method for that; this is not a payments product.

Apple only. One login. A one- or two-person outfit works fine on one account. A crew with its own dispatch and separate logins should look elsewhere.

No Inventory. You can keep products and services updated with detailed costs, but the system does not track an inventory. The cost is important to reporting to show your true gross profits.
